What becomes possible when everyone has a voice?
That's the question behind Facilitator Playground.
Facilitator Playground is a free monthly space to experience facilitation by participating in it. Together, we'll experiment with participatory structures, notice how small design choices shape group dynamics, and learn from the collective wisdom already in the room.
People join from nonprofits, education, government, arts organizations, consulting, community leadership, and creative practice. While their work looks different, they're often exploring the same questions:
How do we create spaces where people genuinely want to participate?
How do we move beyond presentations and into meaningful conversation?
What helps people build on one another's ideas instead of talking past each other?
How can small facilitation choices transform the way people connect, collaborate, and learn?
Drop in, as you are, a we will experiment, reflect, ask questions, and connect with other humans who care about bringing people together thoughtfully.

Topic: Appreciative Inquiry
What changes when we begin with strengths instead of problems?
This month we'll explore Appreciative Inquiry, a facilitation approach that invites people to uncover what's already working and use those stories as a foundation for learning and action.
Through interactive activities and guided reflection, we'll experience how thoughtful questions can shift the tone of a conversation, strengthen relationships, and surface ideas that might otherwise stay hidden.
